Certification and Calibration of Test Sieves, Test Sieve Shakers and Dynamic Image Analysis

On-site quality assurance

We use our modern calibrated screen measuring systems for certifying new analysis sieves and re-certifying used ones. One of these is located in our plant laboratory. But with our mobile unit, we can also measure on-site, on your premises. The certified HAVER BSA measuring procedure determines whether the analysis sieves comply with the applicable standards.
With the mobile HAVER measurement system, Haver & Boecker can

  • certify or
  • calibrate

on-site.

 

With both methods, the woven wire meshes are measured in both the warp and weft direction. They differ from each other through the number of apertures to be measured, which results in statistical confidence levels.

During calibration, up to three times more apertures are measured than during certification. Each analysis sieve is always specifically tested. The determined mesh sizes are given separately for both the warp and weft direction.

The measurement results are stored and available for later evaluation.

  • Certification as to ISO 3310, ASTM E11, AFNOR, BS 410
  • Measurement protocol 3.1 as to EN 10 204 with tabular display of mesh sizes
  • On-site service  - directly at the customer, thus analysis sieves can go back into operation quickly

 

Test of Test Sieve Shakers


We test your test sieve analysis machines for function, condition and safety in your plant. The machines are subjected to comprehensive system diagnostics and function tests, during which, among other things, the amplitude characteristic is determined and, if necessary, readjusted. After successful testing, we issue a final acceptance test certificate 3.1 as to DIN EN 10204. Should we detect any faults, then we will submit a cost estimate for repair and maintenance. We recommend an inspection every two to three years if the sieve machine is used frequently,

CERTIFICATION

  • Measurement of test sieves using mobile BSA system in the range 20 μm – 2.0 mm
  • Mesh and opening  sizes > 2.0 mm using calipers
  • Standards: ISO 3310-1 and ISO 3310-2, ASTM E11
  • Electroformed Sheets: ISO 3310-3  > 20µm
  • Time expenditure per sieve / 5 min – 30 min

 

CALIBRATION

  • Measurement of test sieves using mobile BSA system in the range 20 μm – 2.0 mm
  • Mesh and opening sizes > 2.0 mm using calipers
  • Standards: ISO 3310-1 and ISO 3310-2, ASTM E11
  • Time expenditure per sieve / 10 min - 1 hour and more

 

CERTIFICATION / CALIBRATION AS TO DIN EN ISO / IEC 17025

Only in an accredited plant laboratory in Oelde and exclusively for analysis sieves with      woven wire mesh possible. Larger quantities must first be coordinated with the plant laboratory.
